Dear Scientist, Distinguished Academic;
We are very glad to announce that “INTERNATIONAL AHMET YAKUPOĞLU CITY, ART AND DESIGN SYMPOSIUM” is going to be held with the sponsorship of Kütahya Dumlupınar University Rectorate and hosted at Dumlupınar University Faculty of Fine Arts. We will feel honored to host you in the city of Kütahya.
The symposium will include the fields of art, design, city, history, architecture, miniature, urban aesthetics. In addition to these general topics the key topics will be Painter Ahmet Yakupoglu and Kütahya. Today the importance of interdisciplinary togetherness and associations is very well understood, therefore through this symposium the goal is to contribute to the world of science by developing a variety of perspectives for the problems experienced in city, art and design; by publishing the products obtained at the end of the symposium in the Book of Proceedings and sharing them in all scientific and artistic environments. Painter Ahmet Yakupoglu’s versatility and his exemplary interdisciplinary works directed us to study the aforementioned ideals.
Ahmet Yakupoglu (1920-2016) with his identity as a painter, miniaturist, ney player, illumination artist, museologist, restorateur, librarian and environmentalist, was known as the ‘Last Hazerfen of the 21st Century’.
On behalf of the Kütahya Dumlupınar University, we feel proud and happy to be the host of a high quality activity in the fields of culture, art, history, city and design, which has been organized in the light of Ahmet Yakupoglu’s Philosophy.
Through this symposium, we aspire to utilize the works of designers and artists who comprehend the environment, nature and the space to guide the future. Benefits can be gained through the information they produce in the fields of research and application. This will lead to innovations for social life and the furtherance of the public welfare.
I would like to express my sincere thanks in advance for your participation and support, and offer my respects with the wish to see you at the symposium.
